CC&RP breaks the silence on Emergency Contraception(EC). Finally Uganda has accepted to have EC accessible over the counter, breaking through the chains of political and religious leaders who referred to advocates of EC as murderers promoting abortion in the guise of safe motherhood. With help from PIWH, Compton Foundation and Population Council, women and girls in Uganda regained their freedom not to die from preventable causes of unsafe abortions.
